Our Story

How it began

Sriram and Priyanka’s story began long before either of them was old enough to remember it. Their families had been close friends for more than twenty years, sharing countless celebrations, holidays, and family milestones together. As a result, Sriram and Priyanka grew up knowing each other through their families and remained part of the same close family circle.

Over the years, their parents often spoke about how meaningful it would be for the two families, already connected by decades of friendship, to one day become family. As Sriram and Priyanka grew older, those conversations gradually became more serious. With the support and involvement of both families, their parents formally brought forward the idea of marriage.

At 12, Sriram and Priyanka became engaged, marking the beginning of a new chapter not only for them, but for two families that had shared so much of their lives already. Their engagement was very much a family occasion, bringing together relatives and family friends who had watched them grow up.

Four years later, at 16, they were married. What began as a friendship between their parents more than two decades earlier had ultimately brought the two families together permanently. Their marriage became a continuation of a relationship built across generations—rooted in family, tradition, and a bond that had existed long before either of them could have imagined where it would lead.
